Maggoosh, was named after the designers’ breakdancing nickname. Through the use of quality materials fashioned into fluid forms, Maggoosh jewelry embrace and compliment the body’s natural movement. All pieces are handcrafted in 925 sterling silver with 10k details, with precision through a network of craftsmen located in Athens to deliver a simple yet stunning result. Margarita Chrissaki founded the jewelry brand Maggoosh; while launching her brand she completed her studies on Jewelry Design at the Gemological Institute of America in NY. Margarita is also performing as a professional breakdancer. She has now been training and competing for more than 8 years gaining momentum through her multiple winning placements in numerous international competitions. She quotes: “The same way a dancer’s beauty is expressed through movement; a piece of jewelry is at its finest when synchronized with the body’s motions. Everything looks nicer when in motion.” Through the use of chains, her designs are known for their movement and effect of fluidity.
