Founded and based in Holstein since its creation in 1904, the Oris watchmaking company has been able to cultivate its independence throughout its history. With a history spanning more than 100 years, Oris has always been able to adapt to the needs of a constantly evolving industry. In 1938 the brand registered patents for the “Pointer Date” complication, which was never to leave the catalogue. The first aviator’s watch, the “Big Crown”, was born. Since that historic date, and today more than ever, Oris continues to write its history by following its own path.
