Frequently asked questions
How will evolve the Samaritaine loyalty program starting April 1st, 2026?
As of April 1st, 2026, Samaritaine will cease its participation in the DFS CIRCLE program and launch its own loyalty program: Samaritaine Circle.
I received an email informing me of the transfer of my loyalty program membership will be transferred from DFS to Samaritaine. What will happen if I do not respond?
Specifically, unless you request otherwise before March 9th, 2026, the service provider for the Department Store’s loyalty program will transfer from DFS to Samaritaine. This transfer includes the assignment of rights and obligations related to the program in conformance with its terms and conditions (Art. 11).
Your personal information will continue to be used solely within the framework authorized by law or your prior consent. Samaritaine agrees to comply with applicable regulations.
What will happen to my loyalty status tier and my points if my loyalty membership is transferred from DFS to Samaritaine?
You can continue to benefit from your privileges and use the DFS CIRCLE program up to and including March 9th, 2026. On that date, our point and status tier counters will shut down in order to allow for the transition.
Your DFS CIRCLE status tier acquired on March 9th, 2026, will be retained during the launch of the Samaritaine Circle program on April 1st, 2026.
With regard to your points balance, our counters will shut down next March 9th. If on that date your balance is equal to or greater than 2,000 points, it will be converted to a gift card valid for 12 months from the date of issue. If your balance is less than 2,000 points, it will be included in your future Samaritaine Circle account.
I didn’t receive an email informing me of the transfer of my loyalty program membership from DFS to Samaritaine. What does it mean?
It means that your loyalty account will not be transferred from DFS to Samaritaine. You can continue to benefit from your privileges and use the DFS CIRCLE program up to and including March 9th, 2026. Starting from March 10th, 2026 you will not be able to acquire new points at Samaritaine or use your existing points at Samaritaine. All other DFS stores will remain eligible for your DFS CIRCLE privileges.
I would like to enroll in the new Samaritaine Circle loyalty program. How can I do?
To enroll in the Samaritaine Circle program, all you will have to do is open an account with one of our sales advisors or at the Concierge desk when you visit Samaritaine, from April 1st, 2026.
