With tailor-made guidance and delights to discover, the team of stylists at Samaritaine’s L’Appartement private lounge are giving you an exclusive look behind the scenes. Sound good? Advice from my stylist

Customers can either request the help of a personal stylist in person when visiting the store or contact us to arrange an appointment at Samaritaine. The personal stylist will then meet the customer by the Concierge to take them on a full tour of the department store. We like to take this time to share a few stories about Samaritaine’s history and introduce the different spaces—Watch & Jewelry, the Boutique de Loulou and the beauty section among them—so that the customer can immerse themselves in the world of Samaritaine. It’s also the perfect opportunity to introduce our exclusive brands, the latest pop-ups or our French labels. Then it’s time for the in-store shopping experience! We help the customer choose the perfect pieces for them. Whether you’re shopping for a special event, browsing for basics (a classic trench coat, the perfect jacket or the jeans of your dreams) or looking for general style advice, we are here to help!

Me and my stylist

We telephone the customer before their appointment so we can get to know them, their lifestyle, and their tastes and needs. It means we can forge a relationship before preparing their personalized selection at L’Appartement and introducing them to different ideas. A wide selection of jewelry, ready-to-wear pieces, accessories and complete looks are just waiting to be discovered. The store’s other services are also available there, such as the make-up service for customers who have an important event the same evening. On the day itself, there will be food and drink on offer as we once again take a tour of the department store before visiting the various lounges in L’Appartement. Once the customer has settled into a cozy, private VIP lounge for some pampering, we’ll talk things through with them before unveiling the selection. The personal stylist will explain their choices and how they correspond to the customer’s body type, color palette and daily life, while channeling their inspirations to fine-tune the selection. Personal stylists then stay in touch with customers, keeping them up-to-date with store news, campaigns, events and new brands. Some make a special trip for this exceptional experience — including foreign visitors who stop by every time they are in Paris!

At home with my stylist

Personal stylists can visit parisian customers at home, or call in on foreign visitors at their hotel. After an initial analysis of the customer’s closet (or suitcase!), we can offer them Samaritaine’s stylistic expertise. We analyze their attire to sort garments, suggest new ways to style them together, then recommend products from the department store to complement their closet. It’s a genius solution to add the finishing touch to any clothing collection, and to make the most of what’s already there!
